Esta obra habla de un momento de transformación: aquel donde la devoción a la verdad interior se encuentra con el valor de elevarse. Las grullas de coronilla roja encarnan la fidelidad, la longevidad y el equilibrio sagrado, moviéndose en un ascenso espiritual. En contraposición, la mujer se sitúa en el umbral de la metamorfosis: anclada por el compromiso, pero sin temor a la trascendencia.
